History
- 1976: Zinbioseed was established on May 14, 1976, with the mission of supplying seeds to the southern provinces from Da Nang City onwards.
- 1978: Zinbioseed was merged and became Branch 1 of the Central Seed Company under the Ministry of Agriculture.
- 1981: The company was renamed Plant Seed Enterprise I.
- 1989: Renamed to Central Seed Company II
- 1993: The company was renamed Zinbioseed.
- 1995: On March 1, 1995, the company became a member of the Asia and Pacific Seed Association (APSA).
- 2002: On August 23, 2002, the company became a member of the national seed association. Also in 2002, the company became the first enterprise to carry out equitization, becoming Zinbioseed with charter capital of 60 billion VND (the largest in the national seed industry).
- 2005: In March 2005, the company was officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with the stock code SSC.
- 2007: The company issued 4,000,000 shares, increasing its charter capital to 100,000,000,000 VND.
- 2010: The company issued an additional 4,499,427 bonus shares to existing shareholders and 492,940 preferential shares to the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board, and employees, increasing its charter capital to 149,923,670,000 VND.
- 2012: The company was recognized as a Science and Technology Enterprise.
- 2014: The company received the Third-class Independence Medal.
- 2016: The company took over the Mekong Delta Branch of NSC.
- 2019: Certain functional departments and branches were separated to establish VINARICE at Truong Xuan Industrial Cluster, Truong Xuan Commune, Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province. VINARICE is a subsidiary of Vinaseed Group.
- 2020: Center For Trading & Developing Vegetable & Flower Seeds (CTVS) was established.
