Crop protection and agronomy

Protecting crops, supporting growers

Good seed needs a healthy crop around it. Alongside our seed, Zinbioseed supplies crop-protection products and the technical know-how to use them well: controlling weeds and diseases at the right time, with the right product, in the right amount.

Crop-protection products must be used only as their registered label directs. Contact the Zinbioseed product team for advice on the right programme for your crop and area.

Safe use

Use crop-protection products safely

Crop-protection products protect harvests, but only when they are handled with care. These rules apply to every product we sell.

  1. Read the label first

Use each product only on the crops, at the rates and at the timing its registered label sets out.

  2. Wear protective equipment

Gloves, a mask, long sleeves and eye protection when mixing and spraying, then wash thoroughly afterwards.

  3. Spray at the right time

Choose calm weather with no rain due, and keep spray away from water sources, people and animals.

  4. Respect the waiting period

Leave the pre-harvest interval on the label between the last spray and harvest.

  5. Store and dispose of safely

Keep products in their original containers, locked away from children, food and animal feed, and never reuse empty containers.
