Growing guide
- Growing systemGrow in a net house or greenhouse, in beds or grow bags with drip fertigation, training each plant up a string.
- TrainingRemove side shoots on the lower stem and set fruit on side shoots around nodes 9–12, keeping one fruit per plant.
- PollinationHand-pollinate or use bees in the morning when the flowers open, and tag each fruit with the date.
- NutritionRaise potassium and reduce nitrogen once the fruit starts to net, and cut back water slightly in the last week to lift sugar content.
- HarvestHarvest when the netting is complete, the fruit smells sweet and a fine crack appears where the stalk joins the fruit.
